Lorraine has exceptional knowledge and a breadth of skills around Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) acquired during her 20+ years of experience at Holland Bloorview. During her time here, she continues to advocate for community health and well-being through people-focused programs, client and family education and leading methods for human-centered co-design. She also has a keen interest in the intersections of health literacy and health equity.
Genevieve (“Evie”) Begy is a graduate of the London School of Economics with a BSc in Managerial Economics and Strategy and an MSc with Distinction in International Management. Evie joined The Kit, Torstar’s multi-platform beauty & fashion media brand, in 2014, where she has worked in a variety of roles to devise and implement the marketing mix for the portfolio.
David Chan is an Information Technology Business Intelligent consultant. He and his wife Aline, who works in a non-profit organization, both volunteer as Family Leaders with the Holland Bloorview Family Leadership program. They are proud parents of their son, who has Autism and is a client of Holland Bloorview services, and their daughter who is striving to work in the special education field.
Mary DiFrancesco, RECE, is an early childhood educator at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital’s Play and Learn nursery school.
As part of the early learning and development team, Mary provides specialized programming which supports children with a range of diagnosis including an autism diagnosis or those who are in the process of exploring a diagnosis.
