Overnight respite

The overnight respite service, offered by our inpatient program, supports families by providing short-term, inpatient care for children with disabilities or complex medical needs.

Please note:

Our overnight respite program is experiencing a disruption in service due to increasing demands for rehabilitation admissions and associated resources.

For emergency respite care, please contact Robyn Sanford at or 416-425-6220 x6406.

Day respite

The 2022 Fall Session of the Weekend Respite Day Program will start October 16 and will run thru to December 18, 2022.  Due to limited number of spots, each family will be limited to 2 date requests for this session.  A 3rd date can be requested and will be dependent on demand.

The Weekend Respite Day Program is offered on Sundays from 1:00 to 7:00pm.  The program is for any Holland Bloorview client age 2 to 18 years. Priority will be given to those families expressing high need for care support during this time of limited access to respite services.

Registration for Fall 2022 is open.
