Learn about disability inclusion
Ableism is discrimination towards someone based on their abilities, often favouring those who do not have a disability and seeing less value in those that do. Ableism can be reflected in actions, words, behaviours, and access issues.

Pediatric health care
Let’s work together to drive change across the continuum of care so that all children can maximize their ability to have meaningful and healthy futures.

For kids and youth
From elementary school to university, to the early years of working, our kids and youth resources can help you learn more about disability inclusion. Hear directly from people with lived experience of disability, and discover how you can advocate for yourself or become an ally.

School inclusion hub
Our goal is to make inclusion a reality for all students with disabilities and we know you’re here because you share the same goal. You play an important role in supporting students with disabilities and combating ableism in the classroom, on the playground and beyond.

Accessibility hub
Once you see all the ways our world is designed for people without disabilities, you can’t unsee it. And everyone can do something. – Rachel

Disability in the workplace
“Many accommodation requests can be addressed easily with a few minor adjustments, without a high cost. The increased attention to communication and empathy will have a positive impact on the entire team’s morale, retention and productivity.” –Victoria Santo, People & Culture Business Partner, Holland Bloorview.
