Ajmal holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and began his career as a software developer specializing in embedded devices. With experience spanning multiple technology companies and various stages of product design and development, he sought to apply his expertise in a more impactful domain. This led him to pursue a Master of Health Science in Clinical Engineering at the University of Toronto under the mentorship of Dr. Elaine Biddiss. Now, as a key contributor to Dr. Biddiss’ research, Ajmal plays an integral role in translating innovative concepts into tangible technologies that support children with disabilities. He is passionate about leveraging engineering to drive meaningful advancements in pediatric rehabilitation.
