We are committed to creating a world of possibility for kids and youth with disabilities and we know that the programs and services available to children and youth with disabilities are critical to supporting them achieve their personalized goals.

To better support our clients and families through the COVID-19 pandemic, we have expanded our virtual programming to break down barriers to accessing our life-enhancing care and programming.

We are committed to continuing to provide access to these services in a virtual environment where we can. Virtual appointments are available for a number of our outpatient clinics, including:

  • Orthotics and prosthetics follow-up appointments
  • Autism assessments, occupational therapy and social work services
  • Spina bifida and spinal cord clinic
  • Cleft lip and palate clinic
  • Concussion clinic 

To learn whether your clinic is offering virtual care, explore our Programs and Services directory or contact the HB Info Line (416-400-8876) between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday to Friday. Please note that physician referrals are required to access some services.

While most of our programs and services have moved to a virtual environment at this time, we continue to see clients requiring urgent services in our Pediatric Dentistry clinic, as well as Orthotics and Prosthetics. If you have an urgent need, please contact the clinic directly and a team member will get back to you as soon as possible.

HB Virtual: Transitions

We are now offering critical life skills development programming for youth virtually. Many of our Transitions to Adulthood programs help to prepare our youth and young adult clients for meaningful and healthy lives beyond Holland Bloorview.

Current Transitions to Adulthood virtual programming includes:

  • Transitions Pop-ups
  • LIFEspan clinic
  • Employment Participation Pathways
  • 1:1  Transition consultations and group programming
  • Virtual hangouts & Friendship Groups
