Placement opportunities
- We offer clinical placements in a variety of programs including inpatient, day patient and outpatient
- Therapeutic recreation staff are registered members of Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (R/TRO or R/TRO DIP)
- Supervision by Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and non-CTRS available
- Placement availability will vary by semester / season
Application process
- Complete the Student Placement Application
- Submit application and your resume to: trstudents@hollandbloorview.ca
Deadline for applications are as follows:
- Fall Placements (September) - submit between March 1 and April 1
- Winter placements (January) - submit between August 1 and September 1
- Summer placements (May) - submit between October 1 and November 1
Please note:
- only completed application packages received during the submission timeline will be considered
- candidates selected for an interview will be contacted within 1 month of the submission timeline closing date
- submitting a complete application package does not guarantee an interview
- due to the high volume of requests, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted
- we do not offer paid co-op placements or individual tours
