ALERT: COVID-19 & the snoezelen program

June 16, 2022.

At this time, the community snoezelen room and pool are not available for external fee-for-service programming.

The physical requirements of the snoezelen program (enclosed spaces and higher staffing ratios) require that we continue to assess the situation on an ongoing basis. We will update this page as new information becomes available.

As we have throughout the pandemic, Holland Bloorview will proceed cautiously, recognizing that we are serving vulnerable populations, many of whom are not eligible for covid-19 vaccines.   As such, our own internal infection prevention and control measures including screening, masking, physical distancing, and vaccine mandates will remain in place. Proof of vaccination is required for anyone 12 yrs and older. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please contact Lorraine Thomas, lthomas@hollandbloorview.ca for general  information on the snoezelen room and pool program.

Holland Bloorview’s community Snoezelen room and pool are open to Holland Bloorview clients, community agencies, schools and support organizations for children and adults with disabilities.
