Introducing: Holland Bloorview’s Annual Champion of Possibility Award

The Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of the Champion of Possibility award.

The Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of the Champion of Possibility award. This new annual recognition, announced at our signature event An Evening of Possibility, honours individuals, families, or corporations that have made a profound impact on the lives of children and youth with disabilities through their philanthropy, leadership, and vision for building a more inclusive, accessible and equitable world. Through their advocacy and leadership, the recipients of this award will inspire others to join Holland Bloorview in our drive to transform disability care, research and education and create a world of possibilities for kids and families everywhere.

We had the privilege of presenting the inaugural Holland Bloorview Champion of Possibility Award to David Coriat in recognition of his transformative and visionary support. As a renowned business leader, and noted philanthropist, David’s remarkable fundraising efforts has made him Holland Bloorview’s top fundraiser and the inspiration behind many generous gifts. His partnership and client-centered advocacy was instrumental in fueling our anti-stigma work, transitions program and The Coriat Fund for a Barrier Free Future.  As a former client family he has be a steadfast supporter, mentor, friend and champion.

“Every child has the right to participate in society,” David says. “We want to help kids reach their full potential.” The numerous programs made possible by David provide the foundation for children and youth with disabilities to have crucial access to the care, funding, services, and support they need as they move through childhood and transition into adulthood.

Thank you, David, for being a true Champion of Possibility.
