Capes for Kids thankful for a week of media coverage

Sixth annual fundraiser saw stories on CTV, Global News Toronto, Etalk, TVOkids and OMNI TV.

Holland Bloorview’s biggest fundraising campaign ran from March 7-13 raising money this year to support our families with their most urgent needs, as they continue to be disproportionately affected by the pandemic. Capes for Kids also got a little bit of extra help from two real life superheroes—Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz from The Batman—who recorded a special video to help Holland Bloorview meet its mission of raising $1 million to create a world of possibility for kids with disabilities. The campaign saw a week’s worth of engaging stories featuring our clients, families and fundraisers in such outlets including: Global News Toronto, EtalkThat TVOkids Show and OMNI – Focus Cantonese and Focus Punjabi.
