Brenda Milner, neuropsychology pioneer, turns 100

(September 2018) Brenda Milner, often referred to as the "founder pf neuropsychology" turned 100 on July 15. Milner, a long-time mentor of Dr. Tomas Paus, a distinguished senior scientist and director of population neuroscience & developmental neuroimaging, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (Holland Bloorview) is a Canadian neuropsychologist.

On September 6-7, Milner celebrated her 100th birthday during the Brenda Milner Centennial Symposium that was held in Montreal with a select group of high-profile speakers. The symposium recognized her accomplishments, reflected on all that has been learned in 100 years of neuropsychology/cognitive neuroscience, and looked ahead into the future.
