FAMILY TIPSHEET: Blogs by People with Disabilities

Please note: The information provided in this handout is for reference only. It is not intended as a recommendation or endorsement, or as a comprehensive resource list.

Hi, my name is William Murrill and I am a volunteer through the Youth@Work program.

There is a real surplus of "parent blogs" on the internet, but there is not enough visibility for blogs by people dealing with disabilities and speaking about those experiences themselves. To give those voices a signal boost, I carefully picked these blogs to cover a broad range of disabilities while also ensuring that each of them provided thoughtful and engaging content.

I found all of them to be quite interesting to read, and I hope you do too!
