Research Focus:
As the lead of Evidence to Care, Holland Bloorview's knowledge translation hub, Dr. Kingsnorth works with a specialized team to mobilize research evidence to inform care in childhood disability. Working with diverse knowledge users, targeted evidence to clinical care gaps are tackled using knowledge translation science to inform dissemination and implementation practice.
As a clinical study investigator, Dr. Kingsnorth specializes in knowledge synthesis, employing systematic, scoping and rapid-review methodologies to identify best practices in pediatric rehabilitation. Recent projects stemming from her interests in participation and inclusion include arts-based interventions, tools to help discuss obesity with children and their families, and interventions for caregiver stress.
