Occupational therapist

Moira Peña, BScOT, MOT Reg. (Ont.), is an occupational therapist working in the Child Development Program who has dedicated her career to working with individuals who experience sensory processing challenges. 

Moira is an expert ‘Hub’ team member of the recently launched ECHO Ontario Autism Program which aims to support and further develop pediatricians’ skills to screen, diagnose and manage children and youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Ontario. She has presented workshops to parents, teachers, pediatricians and other health care professionals and holds a status appointment as a lecturer in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto.
