Ledy received her Ph.D. in Physical Therapy from Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. She has a Bachelor of Physical Therapy, specializing in Physical Therapy in Traumatic-Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation with an emphasis in Manual Therapy. She also holds a Master’s degree in Neuroengineering.
Ledy is a physical therapist with over 10 years of experience. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in telerehabilitation, outpatient clinic, neuromodulation, motion capture tools, wearable devices, human-machine interface, and data analysis using statistical analysis, signal processing, and machine learning in quantitative data, mainly towards the enhancement of health-related to people with motor impairments. Ledy has made valuable contributions as a professor for graduate and post-graduate students in various health courses and as part of the coordination committee of medical school.
Ledy enjoys dancing, eating delicious sweet foods, hiking, and running in her spare time.
