Dr. Rageen Rajendram MD, FRCPC

Dr. Rageen Rajendram is a Developmental Paediatrician at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (HBKRH), with a medical degree from the University of Toronto. His interests lie at the intersection of developmental disorders, clinical informatics, and artificial intelligence (AI), aiming to improve care delivery for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Dr. Rajendram has engaged in research to explore the potential of machine learning in ASD care delivery. His ongoing study, "Transforming Transitions," seeks to understand the cultural factors affecting healthcare decisions among families with ASD children transitioning to adulthood.

In his current role, Dr. Rajendram contributes to improving ASD diagnostic pathways at HBKRH. He is also part of an interdisciplinary clinic supporting children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders and severe restrictive eating. 

As an advocate for Clinical Informatics education, Dr. Rajendram has been involved in resident education on clinical informatics at the Hospital for Sick Children. He also shares Paediatric health information with the Tamil community through the TamilKidsHealth initiative.
