Participate in this study

Are you a Holland Bloorview client who does Lokomat training? Want to help us evaluate current questionnaires of client involvement in appointments? Consider participating in our study so that we can make our questionnaires the best they can be!

Who can participate

Children/youth who are between the ages of 8 and 18, and who get Lokomat training

What's Involved

We would like you to answer our questionnaire.

You would do this questionnaire for two of your Lokomat training sessions that are no more than 14 days apart from each other. We would try and get you to do the questionnaire for two sessions 3-7 days apart from each other. The questionnaire will ask you to rate your experiences in your Lokomat training. The questionnaire would take about 5-10 minutes to answer.

Participants will receive a small token of appreciation at the end of their involvement in our study, a $25 gift card, to thank them for their time. Please note that for you to participate, we also need the PT who does your Lokomat training to also participate. So, we will be recruiting Lokomat Study PTs first. This is to make sure that we have a Lokomat Study PT linked with a client in our study. Your Lokomat Study PT will not know what you say in our study, and you will not know what your Lokomat Study PT says in our study.

You do not have to do this study if you are in any of the Lokomat studies. Whatever you decide will not change what you are doing in the Lokomat study you are in and will not affect the care you receive at Holland Bloorview.
