Elena Sheldrake

Elena graduated with an MSc in rehabilitation sciences and BSc (Hons) double major in biological and medical sciences from Western University in 2019 and 2017, respectively. She is completing her PhD at the University of Toronto in the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute, with a Collaborative Specialization in Neuroscience, under the supervision of Dr. Shannon Scratch (primary) and Dr. Nick Reed (co). She is involved in the Persistent Concussion, Anxiety, Neuropsychology, and Neuroimaging (PeCANN) study at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, which aims to investigate the similarities and differences in neuropsychological and neuroimaging outcomes between youth with persistent post-concussion symptoms and youth with clinical anxiety. In her spare time, she likes to hike, cook new recipes, and play with her foster cat, Beanie.
