Eight Ontario health-care organizations, led by Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and Halton Healthcare, are designing and pilot-testing disability inclusive employment training for health-care leaders.

The training resource builds awareness of human resources practices to attract, train and retain individuals with disabilities, as people with disabilities and health conditions work and thrive in a variety of roles in Ontario health-care organizations.

If you identify as a person with a disability and are a current or past employee, learner, or volunteer in health care, we invite you to contribute to the creation of this training resource by filling out this form and sharing your experiences by January 21, 2025.

You may be eligible for an honorarium if you are selected for a video, photo or quote.

Funding for the Inspire, Hire, Train, Retain (IHTR) project is provided by the Government of Ontario and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation.

The IHTR resource will be available to all Ontario health-care organizations by March 2025.
