Sonya Basarke

Sonya joined the NOvEL lab in August 2022 as a Research Assistant. She has a PhD in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University. She is interested in research that helps inform clinical practice, especially when it can help improve care for children and their families. Sonya is currently the research assistant for the Teen Online Problem Solving (TOPS) study, as well as a study examining resiliency in youth with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
