Rianne Hastie Adams M.S.W.
Rianne is a Clinical Research Coordinator with the Autism Research Centre, working with Dr. Evdokia Anagnostou on the clinical trials team. Rianne is involved in assessment work and coordination for a number of medication studies for children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Rianne completed her Honour’s Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Queen’s University, after which she spent several years in clinical research focusing on Developmental Disabilities and neurogenetics. Rianne was first introduced to the world of ASD while working with children with genetic disorders who were also diagnosed on the spectrum. Her time with these children and their families was the impetus for her to pursue graduate studies; she completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto, and is a registered social worker. Rianne had her first internship placement here at Holland Bloorview, and is also a social worker in the Child Development Program. She is thrilled to work with an organization with such a demonstrated commitment to improving the lives of children with disabilities.
