As an academic health science centre, Holland Bloorview combines the delivery of services to clients with research and teaching. To support this model, the Teaching and Learning Institute was formally created in February of 2009, and since then has taken a leading role for innovation and excellence at Holland Bloorview.
The Teaching and Learning Institute believes that it is the sharing and exchange of knowledge that develops and empowers Holland Bloorview’s people to achieve excellence in caring for our kids. We believe that the pathway to us being our best is through teaching others.
