What is ACT?

Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) is a mindfulness and value-based intervention that aims to help caregivers struggle less with difficult things in their lives and connect with the things that are most important to them.

About the ACT Orientation Workshop at Holland Bloorview:

A virtual interactive session to learn more about and experience ACT together with other caregivers and learn about the 6 week ACT Group.

Who: The ACT orientation session is open to all caregivers.  However, the Holland Bloorview 6-week ACT for Caregivers group is eligible to caregivers of children/youth up to 21 years old, who have a disability and/or complex health condition and who have received care at Holland Bloorview
