Laurie Hicks spent most of her career in business and information technology consulting, leading to partnership in an international professional services firm and later, to an executive role in a smaller consulting firm providing services to the health sector.Her experience spans many industry sectors and a wide range of client profiles but for many years her interest and passion was focused exclusively in the health sector.
Lynda Torneck is Director, Marketing and Communications at Crescent School. Lynda brings over 20 years of branding and communications experience to her role on the Board of Trustees. Prior to joining Crescent School, Lynda held senior leadership positions at some of Canada's top advertising and media agencies spanning traditional and digital environments.
Lynda has a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in marketing from McGill University.
Tom Chau, PhD, PEng, is a Senior Scientist at Bloorview Research Institute, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and a full Professor in the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto.
Tracey Millar is Vice President, People and Culture at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. In her role, Tracey provides strategic and operational leadership for the hospital’s human resources, occupational health & wellness and volunteer resource departments.
Eileen joined Hub International in 2007 in an executive sales position and in 2010 was appointed Vice President and Partner.
Sean McNulty is Principal and Co-Founder of XIB Financial Inc., holding company for the Toronto-based capital markets advisory and asset management businesses.

Fanny received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics and Electronics Engineering from Grenoble Institute of Technology.
She joined the PRISM Lab in 2010 after an internship with Dr. Elaine Biddiss and is now responsible for designing assistive technology solutions for children with disabilities.
Fanny enjoys reading, watching movies and eating delicious French food. She is also an enthusiastic soccer and curling player.
Bloorview Research Institute
Ka Lun received his B.A.Sc. in the Engineering Science program (Biomedical Option), and has an M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, both from University of Toronto. He has been a part of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital since 1995, when he started as a summer student. He worked briefly as a software developer in the IT field before starting full time at Bloorview in 1999.
