Bloorview Research Institute
Ka Lun received his B.A.Sc. in the Engineering Science program (Biomedical Option), and has an M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, both from University of Toronto. He has been a part of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital since 1995, when he started as a summer student. He worked briefly as a software developer in the IT field before starting full time at Bloorview in 1999.

Mouzhan received her Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and completed her Master of Health Sciences in Translational Research at the University of Toronto. Her graduate research centred on co-designing an accessible tool with autistic adults to improve communicating their mental health needs to their chosen healthcare providers.
Nicole McAdams, RECE, is an early childhood educator who holds a degree in Early Childhood Studies from Ryerson University.
Nicole has been working with children of various abilities for 10 years in many settings. Completing a student placement at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital opened her eyes to new possibilities and a world that she wanted to be a part of in any capacity.
Kate Bernardi, BAH, CCLS, is a Social ABCs early intervention trainer, parent coach and certified Child Life Specialist (CLS) with a background in psychology and child development.
