Dr. Iskra Peltekova MD, FRCPC

Dr. Peltekova is a developmental pediatrician and a clinical study investigator at the Bloorview Research Institute. She provides care to children and youth with diverse neurodevelopmental conditions through her work in the autism diagnostic clinic, the psychopharmacology clinic and the extensive needs service at Holland Bloorview. She is also a member of the ECHO Ontario Autism team at Holland Bloorview and participates in educational work with community healthcare providers to expand their skills in the diagnosis and care for children with autism. Her research interest is in finding ways to improve the integration of genomic medicine in the care of children and youth with neurodevelopmental conditions. In her time outside of work, she loves hanging out with her family, going to the gym and is always up for trying a funky haircut or haircolour.
