  • 150 succulents available for giveaway to those that participate in an Earth Week activity.

Come to our lunch time Earth Week booth to try our Waste Guessing Game and test your knowledge of common waste generated during patient discharge.

• Campus Clean-Up: Help us make a positive impact in our local environment, 12 p.m.-1 p.m. (Rain date: April 23.) Gloves, bags and garbage pickers will be provided. All waste will be weighed to see if we can beat last year’s total of 14kg.
• Touch-a-Truck Event: Explore sustainability in action as you get up close and interactive with a waste collection vehicle.  Happening at the school bus loading area, 1 p.m. - 3p.m.
• Wear green to show your support for Earth Day!

• Special Earth Week lunch event in partnership with Sodexo and Forward Food.  The event will feature two limited-time, fully plant-based menu items:
  • Buddha Bowl
  • Baked Black Bean Nachos
• These items will be offered at a discounted price, subsidized by Forward Food. Forward Food will also set up an information table near the cafeteria entrance to help promote the health and environmental benefits of plant-forward dining.
