Michael is a Managing Partner at Maverix Private Equity, where his focus is on all aspects of the investment process, along with firm operations and strategy.  Michael leads the firm's healthcare investment practice.  

Daniel J. McCarthy is Managing Director and Vice Chairman, Investment Banking, at National Bank Financial Markets.

Mr. McCarthy has over 30 years of experience in the investment banking and securities industry. Prior to joining National Bank in 2019, Mr. McCarthy was Vice Chairman and Managing Director at Credit Suisse, leading the coverage of financial sponsors and a broad range of industrial and consumer companies for Credit Suisse Investment Banking in Canada.
