Scott Mason

Scott Mason is Principal & Founder of the Westlake Group, a real estate investment and advisory firm located in Toronto. In addition to his management responsibilities, Scott provides investment banking and advisory services to a broad base of real estate investors. He has experience in brokerage, mergers & acquisitions, development, debt and advisory services.

Prior to Westlake, Scott worked at Brookfield Financial, the advisory division of Brookfield Asset Management, and a boutique real estate investment banking firm. Scott has a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, and is a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association.

From 2017 to 2020, Scott was a board member and acted as Director and Vice President of Sponsorship for the Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) Gamechangers, an organization focused on empowering youth through education and sport.

Scott joined the board of the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation in 2021.
