Youth with disabilities 14 years old+, and their families.

What?

A free Virtual Pop-Up Event where you’ll learn about the role of Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) and how it can support your transition to adulthood. Hear directly from:

• DSO agency staff
• The Bridging to Adulthood team at Holland Bloorview
• A Family Leader (a parent/caregiver with lived experience)

Topics include:

• How to apply to DSO
• Eligibility criteria and funded services
• Community resources available through DSO
• Introduction to Passport Funding: what it is, when it starts, and how to use it effectively
• Overview of day programs for adults
• Q&A with Family Leaders – ask questions and learn from families who’ve been through it

If eligible, the Bridging to Adulthood Team can provide 1 :1 support to support you to begin an application at a later date, after this Pop-Up.

DSO is an access point to adult developmental services, your area DSO will help connect you to ministry-funded services that may be available in your community. Our Bridging to Adulthood team can support you in applying to DSO!
