How Project Search prepares young adults with intellectual disabilities for employment

Host Marivel Taruc shares a six-minute story about Toronto’s first implementation of an international transition-to-work program for youth with intellectual disabilities. Project SEARCH student Congxiao Wang is profiled and interviewed at co-op work site, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Holland Bloorview’s Carolyn McDougall is also interviewed, along with TDSB teacher leading the classroom portion of the program, Lisa Cunha de Freitas.
