A decade of super-charged impact for Capes for Kids

10th annual fundraiser saw stories in Barrie Today, CityNews Toronto, Global News Toronto, Leaside Life and more.

Holland Bloorview kicked off its 10th annual Capes for Kids week with an action-packed roster of media coverage that included stories on a Paralympic hopeful, caped besties Willow and Amelia and a series of capes-themed events in support of the hospital’s signature fundraiser.

The campaign, which raised a record $1.2 million this year, dared as many new, and returning, fundraisers as possible to show up, get loud and join forces to change the face of disability care.  Since 2017, Capes for Kids has raised nearly $10 million for the most urgent care and research needs at Holland Bloorview.

The campaign garnered coverage in BarrieToday.com, BlogTO.com, CityNews Toronto, Global News Toronto, Leaside Life and Midlandtoday.ca, among others.
