BRI Features Six Innovations at Accessibility Innovation Showcase

The weekend of August 8-10 was not only the launch of the exciting Parapan Am Games, but also the launch of the Accessibility Innovation Showcase. This Showcase was a first-of-its-kind event hosted by the Ontario government, in association with the U.S. Consulate General, to raise the profile of accessibility, demonstrate advances in technology and market-ready innovations, and stimulate investment and growth of the industry.

The BRI featured six innovations over the three day event.

From the prism lab we demoed the Hummer, an access technology for children and youth with complex disabilities who are unable to communicate. Click here to read more

From the CP Discovery lab we demoed CP Exergames, a virtual and physical gaming experience for children and youth with cerebral palsy to help develop cardiovascular strength and social interaction opportunities. Click here to read more
