Hafsa Zahid

Hafsa is in the second year of her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto. She is fascinated by how the nervous system integrates and processes sensory signals and is studying how to interface with nerves non-invasively to provide a sense of touch from prosthetic hands. Outside of the lab, she is a rookie cook who likes trying out random recipes, a seasoned TA for introductory programming courses, and an eager white belted Krav Maga trainee.
