Education & Training
Nazanin holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Digital Electronic Systems. Her academic and research experience encompasses artificial intelligence applications in healthcare, biomedical and medical data processing, and brain–computer interfaces. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto.
Research Interests
As a member of the PRISM Lab, Nazanin is highly motivated to contribute to the development of high-tech assistive technologies that support children and youth with disabilities in increasing their participation in daily activities. Her primary objective is to design innovative solutions that enable more effective communication and interaction with their environment.
Other Interests
Outside of her academic work, Nazanin values time spent with friends, engaging in outdoor activities, and photography. She appreciates the beauty of nature and life’s simple moments.
