Ivona Novak

Ivona is the Development Director at EA Sports, where she leads a distributed team responsible for delivering complex features for major multi-platform game releases, including the AAA title "FC25". With 15 years of project management expertise, she has also shared her knowledge as a professor at Humber College Institute. Prior to her role at EA, Ivona served as Director of Project Management at Acosta, where she led high-value tech deliveries and spearheaded agile transformation initiatives.

Ivona has a deep personal connection to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. As a parent of a child with a spinal cord injury, she has been a dedicated advocate for client and family-centered care. Her passionate involvement includes various volunteer roles at the hospital, such as past Co-Chair of the Family Advisory Committee, member of the Quality Committee of the Board, and member of the Bioethics Forum.

Beyond her volunteer work at Holland Bloorview, Ivona brings extensive governance experience. She is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at the Community Association for Riders with Disabilities (CARD), a member of the Special Education Advisory Committee for the Toronto Catholic District School Board, and an Executive Team Member of the Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC) Community of Learning (COL).
