Parent Support Network (PSN) aims to create a space where families can share experiences, information, challenges, successes and strategies. The discussion topic for this month is 'Holland Bloorview Supports for Parent/Caregivers' .
Please join us to:
- Learn about supports available to parent/caregivers at Holland Bloorview including a presentation by Iveta Lewis, Manager of Health Sciences Library about how families can access Library Services.
- Learn and discuss resources such as funding supports, connecting to a family mentor, mindfulness and music therapy for caregivers, family leadership opportunities and more
- Ask questions and gain support
- Meet other parents and share your ideas and experiences!
Parent Support Network is always co-facilitated by a Family Leader. Family Leader Cheryl Peters will join us this month.
Parent Support Network is:
- Created by families, for families
- Unique peer-to-peer support network
- At times includes hearing from childhood disability experts
- Open to all parents or caregivers of children living with disability
- All are welcome - you do not have to be a Holland Bloorview client to attend
