We’re daring to create a world where all youth and children belong

What We Do
We are the only children’s rehabilitation hospital in Canada focused on combining world-class care, transformational research, and academic leadership in the field of child and youth rehabilitation and disability.
Inpatient care
Each year our inpatient programs provide rehabilitation and complex continuing care for over 400 children and youth, who come to Holland Bloorview following an acquired brain injury, for post-surgery rehab or multi-system complex needs. During their stay, our accessible therapeutic playroom, therapeutic clowns and teen lounge give childrenvvand youth a chance to play and laugh. Through recreational therapy, children and youth enhance motor, social and cognitive functioning, build confidence, and develop coping skills, all while receiving personalized inpatient care.
Outpatient services
Each year, we see more than 9800 unique clients a year across more than 40 clinics, including psychopharmacology, music therapy, neurodevelopmental disorders restrictive eating, and more. When a child comes to Holland Bloorview, they see a world of possibility. They see a place where they might communicate their first words using the latest technology, or take their first steps in physiotherapy. Where major innovations, like 3D printing, help children and youth who use orthotics and prosthetics to move and play faster and more affordably. It’s where families who are waiting for an autism diagnosis have access to peer support and mentorship, inclusive programming, research opportunities and some of the most skilled diagnostician and clinicians in the country.
Inclusive recreation programs
Our inclusive recreation programs are dedicated to ensuring every child with has the opportunities to explore self-expression and friendship. Through music therapy and art programs, Spiral Garden, Robotics, adaptive sport, and friendship programs, children and youth’s imagination soars as they become artists, sculptors, gardeners, engineers, athletes and more.
Life skills and job readiness programs

From volunteering to student placements, Holland Bloorview connects youth with disabilities to early career opportunities and promotes access to meaningful work experiences across the province.
Family support programs
