Youth at Holland Bloorview shared what an accessible Canada means to them. It’s your turn!

There is one month left to weigh in on the planned national accessibility legislation and tell the government what an accessible Canada means to you. Members of the hospital’s Youth Advisory Council created a video to share some of their ideas, and want you to share the video on social media and weigh in with your own ideas.

Here’s how to get engaged:

  1. Follow the hospital’s Twitter @HBKidsHospital and join the conversation #AccessibleCanada
  2. Share the video on Twitter (@HBKidsHospital) and Facebook too (@HBKRH)
  3. Weigh in on the website: Canada.ca/Accessible-Canada

The consultations about the legislation close on Feb. 28, 2017, so the time to share ideas about what an accessible Canada means to you is now.

Youth Mentor and accessibility advocate Ayesha Zubair shares how she weighed in on President and CEO Julia Hanigsberg’s January blog.
