CTV News Toronto highlights the Toronto Sceptres’ visit to Holland Bloorview yesterday, where players visited inpatient clients, signed autographs, took part in interactive games and handed out swag to children, youth and families. The visit by the Sceptres was in support of the 10th annual Capes for Kids fundraising campaign, which has raised nearly $8 million to date. All funds support the hospital’s highest-priority needs including cutting-edge research and programs and services that will increase access to pediatric disability care across Canada. Inpatient clients Hannah (pictured above) and Finnley as well as their parents, Jenny Black (Hannah’s mom) and Melissa Morrison (Finnley’s mom) were interviewed and reflected on what the visit meant to them.
