Holland Bloorview was thrilled to welcome José Bautista and the Jays Care Foundation to officially unveil the newly-renovated inpatient teen lounge, which was designed in his honour. The enhancement was made possible through a $120,000 donation from Jays Care Foundation, originally announced in August 2023, when Bautista signed a one-day contract to retire as a Blue Jay. Bautista has been actively involved in community initiatives throughout his career, including numerous visits to Holland Bloorview and participation in Jays Care programming.
