Engineer turns passion for building robots into impactful assistive technology, empowering children with disabilities to communicate and connect independently.
Siva received her Bachelor of Arts with a joint major in Criminology and Psychology from Simon Fraser University. She joined the PRISM Lab in 2010, and brought with her several years of administrative experience and extensive exposure to the field of paediatric disability.

Sarah received her BScH in Neuroscience and Mental Health from Carleton University, and her MSc in the Integrated Program in Neuroscience at McGill University. Sarah’s research interests and expertise focus on understanding and enhancing the well-being and resilience of children and young people. At the PRISM Lab, Sarah is evaluating assistive technology solutions for children with disabilities.
