Soowan Choi, BSc

MASc Student at the PEARL Lab

Soowan is a Masters student at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Elaine Biddiss. He graduated from Queen’s University in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in biomechanics in 2021.   Through technology, Soowan is interested in providing children with an opportunity to live without the problems caused by physical health issues. His research involves 3D depth sensors that track rehabilitation movement in the video game, Bootle Blast.    Outside of academic goals, Soowan enjoys reading classic novels, competing in sports, learning fingerstyle songs on the guitar, and exploring nature.
