Leanne Ristic
Leanne is a Research Assistant with the POND (Province of Ontario Neurodevelopmental Disorders Network) study led by Dr. Evdokia Anagnostou in the Autism Research Centre. This ongoing study investigates the neurobiology of Autism and associated neurodevelopmental disorders (such as ADHD, OCD, and intellectual disability) and aims to translate these findings into better targeted treatments.
Prior to her role at Holland Bloorview, she has extensive experience as a lead and Intensive Behaviour Interventionist in Toronto and York region. She is currently volunteering at Autism Ontario as a Group Facilitator in a Caregiver/Parent Support Group. Leanne completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Victoria, during which she volunteered at a children’s mental health hospital working on the Neurodevelopmental/Psychiatric team. Leanne is thrilled to work with a great team in the Autism Research Centre, and is dedicated to understanding and improving the lives of families through Autism research.
