Mary DiFrancesco
Mary DiFrancesco, RECE, is an early childhood educator at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital’s Play and Learn nursery school.
As part of the early learning and development team, Mary provides specialized programming which supports children with a range of diagnosis including an autism diagnosis or those who are in the process of exploring a diagnosis.
Mary has completed post-graduate work in Child Life Studies at McMaster University. She recently helped run the Ronald McDonald playroom at Holland Bloorview and previously worked with Community Living Toronto.
As a lifelong advocate for children and families, Mary has volunteered her time for many children’s interest groups including Childhood Cancer Care initiatives, the Catholic Children’s Aid Society and several child welfare organizations globally. She looks forward to collaborating with parents, sharing information and finding helpful strategies for their children.
