Ilana Naiman, PhD, RKin

Dr. Ilana Naiman is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Bloorview Research Institute, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in the Possibility Engineering and Research Lab (PEARL) led by Dr. Elaine Biddiss. Ilana received her BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph (2015), her MSc in Kinesiology and Recreation Management from the University of Manitoba (2017), and her PhD from the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto  (2023). 

Ilana has an interest in all things movement. Her previous research has focused on eye-hand coordination, body language communication and motor skill development in individuals with autism. Ilana is currently working on understanding the different possibilities that innovative technologies can create for children of all abilities to participate in and enjoy physical activity and movement therapy.
