Clinical services


If you think your child has suffered a concussion, it is important that you go to the nearest emergency room or connect with your primary care provider immediately. 

1) Early Services 

  • We offer early care services for youth enrolled in our baseline testing program. This program offers follow up care to manage your child's concussion.  
  • If you've completed our baseline testing and sustained a concussion, please review our baseline completion form

2) Concussion & You 

We offer free weekly concussion education through Concussion and You’ by our concussion experts. This is a 1-2 hour session that provides families with the most current information about concussion to best support recovery. Anyone can register for this education session at any time.

3) Persistent Symptoms Services

We also offer clinical consultation services for children and youth with persistent concussion symptoms. If symptoms persist for 4 weeks, and your child is unable to return to full workload at school or unable to return to sports, a physician may refer them to our concussion services for consultation. Please have your doctor complete our physician referral form. All of these services are covered by OHIP, and may include:

  • Medical follow up with a Neurologist and/or Developmental Pediatrician
  • Neuropsychology
  • Occupational therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Social work

Services are individualized and depend on you and your child’s goals and priorities.
