Development of a Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation-based Gait Training Biofeedback System for Lower Limb Amputees

Aliaa's Project

This project centers on developing a wearable biofeedback system designed to augment gait training for individuals with lower-limb amputations. Specifically, how we can employ rhythmic auditory stimulation as a feedback mechanism. This entails the development of algorithms capable of precisely detecting gait deviations and delivering sensory feedback as needed. This work also includes investigating the changes in secondary gait parameters as a result of biofeedback gait training using explainable machine learning techniques.
