Kaela received her Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Guelph in 2015. During her undergraduate studies, Kaela gained experience in managing client-based projects, as well as in research, through design courses and work placements. She performed research work at the Neural and Rehabilitation Engineering Lab at the University of Waterloo, applying EEG technology to monitoring cognitive load, and received her Masters of Applied Sciences in 2017.
Kaela enjoys exploring new cultures and food during travel. She likes to stay active with activities such as hiking and skiing, in addition to a variety of sports (especially soccer).
