Make A Wish Foundation

  • Any child aged 3 - 17-years-old with a life-threatening illness may be eligible this organization to grant them their wish.
  • Wishes may be to go somewhere, be something, meet someone or have something.

  • Wishes are granted to children between the ages of 4-18 who are seriously ill.

  • Dreams granted to children 18 and younger, who have a terminal, critical or a chronic condition including autism.
  • Does not require verbalization by child to confirm wish.
  • Dream must be completed by child’s 18th birthday.
  • Current wait is 1.5 years.

Sunshine Foundation

  • Dreams granted year round to children living in Canada.

Eligibility:

  • Must be 3 to 19 (not yet turned 20) years of age.
  • Must have a severe physical disability or life threatening condition
  • Is able express/explain/communicate their own dream without technical assistance
  • Has not already received a dream or wish from a similar organization (but may have participated in a Sunshine Dreamlift).
