Ali Mojdeh, MASc
PhD Student at PEARL Lab
Ali is a PhD student at the University of Toronto, and works in the PEARL Lab, at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. He completed his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Tehran, with a specialization in biomedical signal processing. He then continued his education at University of Waterloo, in Electrical Engineering where he worked on a novel, microelectromechanical filter.
He started his PhD in September 2018, and he is working towards building a virtual gaming environment to assess concussion recovery in youth athletes in a multi-dimensional setting. He is mainly interested in signal processing, machine learning and app development.
Ali is an official comedy writer and is working to become a stand-up comedian.
